71 Motocross Park recently opened on a parcel of the 5800-acre 71 Farms property. Touted for its rough, outdoor makeup and gnarly whoop sections, the 1.4-mile track is the longest track in the state of Louisiana. Nearest town: Krotz Springs.

Close Encounters Motocross - CLOSE ENCOUNTERS MOTOCROSS
James Coco originally built Close Encounters for his son James Junior, but has now turned Close Encounters into a mini supercross park. The top soil is loamy in texture and the big jumps include a 60-foot double, 80-foot tabletop and 70-foot step-up. Nearest town: Loranger.

Dusty Wheels Riding Park - DUSTY WHEELS RIDING PARK
In business for three years, this 400-acre ride spot is the largest park in Louisiana. The motocross track is 1/2-mile long with sandy soil and numerous tabletop jumps. No races are held at Dusty Wheels. Nearest town: Shreveport.

Hole Shot Motocross Park & Trail Riding - Located at 49907 Highway 443
Loranger, LA 70446, the track features lights, Sprinkler system, 40 Bike starting gate, whoops, step-ups and step downs, an 80 ft. table top, shady camping areas (free!), full service concession, handicap accessible restrooms.

Hurricane Alley Motocross - HURRICANE ALLEY MOTOCROSS
Located on 20 acres of land, the one-mile Hurricane track is known for its excellent dirt (clayish-sand loam), supercross layout and occasional Kevin Windham appearances. The track is owned and operated by Mike Shea, brother of National competitor Charles Shea. Nearest town: New Iberia.

Kentwood Extreme Motocross - KENTWOOD EXTREME MOTOCROSS
Opened one year ago, Kentwood Extreme’s dirt varies from sandy loam to regular dirt to hard clay to loose sand. The hilly, natural-terrain layout is as close to Mt. Morris’ National track as Louisiana can get. Nearest town: Kentwood.

Louisiana Dunes - LOUISIANA DUNES
Known as the only dune spot in the Central United States, Louisiana Dunes offers 380 acres of jump-filled open riding. An additional 40 acres has recently been purchased with hopes of turning it into a motocross track (the 40-acres has firmer ground than the dunes area). Nearest town: McNary.

Louisiana Supercross - The track is located in Avondale La. It's run by Jay Gracianette It's a Supercross layout with a 70 foot triple a 90 foot table and many rythmn sections. Practice is Tuesday and Thursday nights and call for the Sunday schedule. Races are usually on the third Sunday of the month. Its located at 5050 US Hwy 90 West and for more info call 504 888-RACE. Swampland Raceway - SWAMPLAND RACEWAY
Currently, only 50cc to 125cc bikes are being raced at the 26-acre Swampland motocross park. The 1/2-mile course covers rolling hills and features intermediate clay dirt. Practice sessions are held every second and third Sunday. Nearest town: Ville Platte.
